South Fork Rod Company is pleased to be a dealer for Blackfin Rods. Blackfin Rods is located in the city of Stuart on the Southeast Florida coast. It is owned and operated by Allen Winchel, who was born and raised in South Florida. He has fished these waters and around the world for more than 30 years. Allen is currently a member of the "Team Hydra-Sports" fishing team and has been participating in tournaments for many years. His experience fishing all over the world has prepared and motivated him to design and manufacture a specific rod for any application. His desire to produce the highest quality rods is evident in the products offered.

OFFSHORE RODS

Blackfin Rods hand rolls their own e-glass blanks in their Stuart Florida facility to ensure the product has the strength and quality you expect. Their rods are assembled using only the finest components our industry has grown to trust. Aftco, American Tackle, Fuji, Winthrop and Stuart are included in their preferred list of parts. Blackfin offers three offshore lines; Fin, Phoenix, and Pro Pink Series.

INSHORE RODS

Light tackle anglers demand and deserve a variety of inshore rods for specific applications. Whether you are pitching baits at docks or stalking the flats Blackfin manufactures a rod for you. Blackfin currently offers the Sandbar Series and the Pro Pink Inshore Series.

All Blackfin rods are manufactured using IM-8 graphite blanks that feature carbon fiber twill. These high specification, computer designed blanks are manufactured from the highest modulus carbons and are woven with twill to provide extreme sensitivity with a unique design.
